Saniya Kirana Store

Saniya Kirana Store is located on Fateullpur Road in Meerut. We have been serving this part of Uttar Pradesh for a while now. It is a typical grocery shop where we keep all the small things a kitchen needs. We have everything from salt and matches to big bags of lentils. The shop stays open most of the day because someone always needs something at the last minute. We spend a lot of time unloading supplies from the delivery vans that come down the road. It is a narrow street, so it can be a bit of a squeeze. We don't have any fancy displays. The items are just on the wooden shelves or in boxes on the floor. It is a bit cramped inside, but we know where everything is kept. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors who have lived here as long as we have. We talk about the local news while we weigh out the sugar or flour. It is a practical business. We don't use any big computers, just a notebook to keep track of things. The fans stay on all day in the summer to keep the heat away. It is a basic setup, but it works for us and the people who live around here. We just try to make sure the containers are full and the floor is swept.
