Sambhavna General Store

Sambhavna General Store is situated on Garh Road in Shastri Nagar, right near the telephone exchange. Because of the location, we get a lot of people who are just passing through or coming from work at the nearby offices. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. It's got shelves lined with rows of toiletries, cooking ingredients, and various household items that people use every day. Meerut can be a very busy place, and Garh Road is always packed with vehicles, so there’s a lot of exhaust and noise coming in from the street. I usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the honking. The space inside is quite narrow, and I’ve had to get creative with how I stack the crates of soft drinks in the corner. Sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everything, and I’ll find a jar of something I forgot I even bought months ago. Dealing with the distributors can be a bit of a headache when they arrive late, but that’s just part of the job. Most of our regulars are from the Shastri Nagar area and they’ve been coming here for years. We don't bother with any corporate style or big promises. We just open up, sell the goods, and try to keep things as honest and simple as possible. That is all there is to it.
