Steed Sports

You can find us over on 60 Feet Road in Samar Garden. We’ve got this place filled with all kinds of sports gear. It’s not the biggest shop in the world, but we manage to fit a lot in. We spend a lot of time putting balls back on shelves and making sure the bats aren’t leaning against the walls too much. It’s a noisy road outside, so there’s always the sound of traffic in the background. We opened up here because it seemed like a good spot where people could actually pull over. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of the stuff is just out where you can grab it and see if it feels right. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the people who stop by. We aren't trying to be some big chain store. It’s just us, selling what we have in stock. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait a week for the next truck, which can be annoying for the regulars. We try to keep the floors swept, but with people coming in from the dusty road, it’s a constant battle. We stay open pretty late most nights because that’s when people get off work and want to look at things. It’s a straightforward business and we mostly just talk about the local matches with the customers who come in. It’s a bit messy sometimes but that's life.
