Saidham Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away in M Block of Ganga Nagar in Meerut. It’s a residential area mostly, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. Being in 250001 means we are right in the middle of things but off the main noisy roads. The clinic is just a small place where we handle daily health issues. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us around to help out. The waiting area has a few magazines that are probably out of date, but people read them anyway. We try to keep the place organized, though files sometimes pile up on the desk. It’s a routine life here. We arrive, turn on the lights, and wait for the neighborhood to wake up. Some days are very slow and we just sit and talk, other days everyone seems to get sick at once. The walls are painted a plain off-white color and we have a small cabinet for medicines. There is a little window that looks out into the street. You can see the kids playing or people going to the market. It’s a very local feel. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for people to come when they don't feel well. It’s a basic service for the people living in M Block. We've been here for several years and the routine hasn't changed much, which is fine by us.
