Disha Surgicals Pvt. Ltd. is based out of No. 145 Sai Puram, right along the Delhi Road. It’s a good spot because we are easy to reach from the main road, though the dust from the traffic can be a bit much sometimes. Our space is mostly filled with supplies and equipment. We aren't a hospital where you stay overnight; we are more about the practical side of surgical items and medical needs. The warehouse area can get a bit disorganized when a new shipment comes in, but we eventually get everything back onto the shelves. The office part is just a couple of desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to come out this way, but we are usually here from morning until evening. The guys who work in the back have been with us for years. We know the local delivery drivers by name. It’s a simple operation without any bells and whistles. We don't have a fancy lobby with plants. It’s just a place of work where we get things done. We try to keep the coffee pot full because the afternoons can get long. It’s a regular business on a busy road, just trying to keep up with the daily orders. We usually lock up around six and head home.
