Our place is at 681/6 in Brahampuri. It’s a busy neighborhood, and the streets can be quite a maze if you aren’t used to them. We do import and export work, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and waiting for containers to clear. The office is full of folders and shipping documents piled high on every available surface. It’s not a very tidy place, but we know where the important stuff is. Brahampuri has a certain energy to it that keeps you on your toes. We spend a lot of time worrying about schedules and transport strikes. It’s a practical business, nothing fancy about it at all. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the door to loading the occasional van. There’s no corporate hierarchy here. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us just grabs the broom. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the door number. The local tea stall knows our order by heart now. Most days are just a cycle of checking emails, making calls, and checking the warehouse. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when a shipment is late. We just do our best to keep things moving along the line. There's always another box to track or another form to fill out before we can finally leave.
