S M Hospital

Our hospital, S M Hospital, is located at A-15 on the Garh Road, which is a pretty major thoroughfare here in Shastri Nagar. Because we’re right on the main road, we see a lot of people passing by every single day. The traffic can be a real nightmare during rush hour, and you can hear the cars and bikes from inside the building. I’ve been working here long enough to see the cycles of the day—the quiet early mornings and the busy afternoons. The hospital itself isn't some high-tech, futuristic building. It’s a very normal, slightly older place that does its job. We have our wards and our offices, and everything is laid out in a way that makes sense for the staff. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures or big slogans. Most people find out about us just by living nearby or driving down Garh Road. It’s a very grounded place to work. The staff often talks about their families or what’s happening in Shastri Nagar while we’re on our tea breaks. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized. It’s not always perfect; sometimes the wait times are longer than we’d like, but we just keep going. It’s a real place with real people working and coming in for help. It’s just how S M Hospital has always been for us.
