S. K. Garments

We are located at Gali No. 3 on NH-58, along Rohta Road in the Rama Garden Colony. If you know the area, we are directly opposite Green Land School. Being so close to a school means there is always noise and energy around, which we actually quite like. Our shop is a straightforward setup. We have our sewing machines arranged in lines, and there are stacks of fabric against almost every wall. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we are working on a big batch of clothes. We don’t have a fancy storefront or any mannequins in the window. It is mostly just a place for production. Most of our workers live in the colony or nearby, so it’s a very local operation. We usually keep the front door open to let in some air, even though the noise from NH-58 can be quite loud with all the trucks passing by. We start work early in the morning and keep going until the evening. We don’t have any grand mission statements or corporate goals. We just try to finish the work that’s on our tables each day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish an order, and we just order some food and keep going. Rohta Road is a busy place, and we are just one of many small businesses trying to keep things moving. It’s a modest way of doing things, but it works for us and the community.
