Rizwan Ice Cream Parlour

You will find our parlour at 19/7A/3C near the Yamuna Bridge in the Sushil Nagar area. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic near the bridge can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have a few big freezers and a small counter where we do all the serving. It is mostly me and my nephew running the place. We start the day by checking all the tubs to see what needs replacing. We get our supplies from a few different places, and sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, which makes us a bit nervous. In the evenings, especially when it is humid, we get a lot of families coming in. We don't have a lot of room for people to sit inside, so most folks just take their ice cream and walk along the road or sit on their scooters outside. We try to keep a mix of the usual flavors that everyone likes and maybe one or two different ones for people to try out. The floor always seems to have a few sticky spots no matter how much we mop it, but that’s just how it goes with ice cream. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We just want to provide a cold treat for the people living around Sushil Nagar.
