We are located out on Delhi Road, which is a busy stretch for businesses like ours. At Tefkot Cable Company, the main thing you’ll notice is the smell of industrial materials and the sound of the spools turning. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have rows of cables stacked up in the back and the machines run for most of the daylight hours. Some of us have been here since the start, and we’ve seen the road outside change a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now there are trucks going by all the time. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and find someone in the warehouse or at one of the small desks near the front. We spend a lot of time checking the wire gauges and making sure the coating is thick enough. It’s repetitive work, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but mostly we just keep the production line moving. It’s a humble place, and we don’t put on any acts. We just make the cables, wrap them up, and get them ready for whoever needs them next. It’s a simple way to make a living on Delhi Road.
