To get to Juggo Readymade Garments, you have to head into Ahamad Nagar and find Gali No. 14. We are right there on the right hand side, you can’t miss the sign. The shop is tucked away in the lane, so it’s mostly people from around here who stop by. Inside, it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of clothes. We have stacks of jeans, shirts, and dresses all over the place. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but if you ask for something, we usually know exactly which pile it’s in. We spend the day folding clothes and talking to customers who live just a few houses down. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t have fancy changing rooms, just a small space tucked in the back with a curtain. The sewing machine is usually running because someone always needs a hem adjusted or a button fixed. It’s a noisy, busy little place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out walking in the lane. We’ve been here for years and the shop has become a bit of a gathering spot for a quick chat. We just keep things moving, selling what people need for their daily lives. It’s not a big mall experience, but it’s our shop and we like it that way.
