Ram Raheem Dai Cutting is located at 102 Sarai Lal Das in Meerut City. It’s a name that a lot of people in this part of town recognize. We specialize in hair cutting and shaves. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s ours. We’ve been here in Meerut for years. The area of Sarai Lal Das is quite old and has a lot of history, and we feel like a part of that. We don’t do anything complicated. If someone wants a simple side-part or a clean shave, they come to us. We use the old-fashioned razors and sharpen them ourselves. It’s a skill I learned from my father. We don't have a big staff, just two or three of us who know what we're doing. The shop is usually a place where people catch up on the latest talk in the city. There’s always a newspaper lying around for people to read while they wait. We try to keep the prices fair because we know the people around here aren't looking to spend a fortune on a haircut. Sometimes it gets hot in the summer, but we have a good fan going. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Meerut, just a reliable one where you know what you’re getting. It’s a plain, honest business and we take pride in that every single day. We just open up and do what we know how to do best without making any fuss.
