Our shop is located at 12/22 in Mangal Bazar, right here in Meerut. Raj Fashions has been a part of this market for quite some time now. If you know Mangal Bazar, you know it gets incredibly crowded, especially on Tuesdays. The noise from the street is always there, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls to display our clothes. We’ve got bags and garments hanging almost everywhere. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the market is in full swing. We don't have a fancy showroom or air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. Mostly, we just rely on the ceiling fans to keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers and helping the people who wander in from the bazaar. It’s hard work keeping everything tidy because things get moved around a lot during the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most polished place around. We’re just a local business in the heart of Meerut. Sometimes we forget to change the display in the front window for weeks. We just focus on what’s right in front of us. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if the floor needs a good scrubbing every evening after the crowds leave.
