We are based in Village Ajhota, which is part of the Daurala Tehsil. Our spot is right near the main bazar. Being so close to the bazar means we see everyone when they come in for their weekly shopping. We do construction work, mostly small local projects around the village and the neighboring areas. It’s a family-run sort of thing, and we’ve lived in Ajhota all our lives. We don’t have a big corporate headquarters. We mostly work out of a small space where we store our materials and park the tractor. Sometimes the goats from the neighbor’s yard wander over, and we have to shoo them away. It’s that kind of place. We aren't trying to build skyscrapers; we just help people put up walls, fix their roofs, or lay down some concrete. It’s practical work for practical people. The pace of life here is steady, and we don't feel the need to rush things if it means the work won't be done right. We know the local guys who supply the bricks and the sand, so we just coordinate with them. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just want to do right by the people in our village. If you walk through the main bazar, you’ll probably hear someone talking about what we are building next. It’s a small world.
