New Pooja General Store

New Pooja General Store is located in Chota Bazaar, Kanker Khera, over here in Meerut. We are very close to Guru Nanak School, so we see a lot of students and parents throughout the day. Usually, the kids come in for pens or snacks after the bell rings. The shop isn't very large, but we try to fit everything from washing powder to greeting cards inside. My wife helps me manage the evening rush when it gets really busy. Sometimes we misplace the stapler or the tape, and it takes us a moment to find it among all the boxes. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The street gets muddy when it rains, so we have to keep cleaning the floor so it doesn't stay messy. We don't have a big team or anything, just us family members taking turns behind the counter. We stock what people ask for. If someone wants a specific brand of toothpaste, I try to get it from the distributor the next time they visit. It’s a quiet life mostly, just selling things and talking to the regulars. We don’t use any fancy systems. We just remember what people like and keep the shelves filled as best as we can. It's hard work but it keeps us going every day in this neighborhood. We are just a small shop trying to make a living and help the school families get what they need for their homes.
