Our place is right across from Nayyar Palace in Lal Kurti. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it’s a landmark that everyone uses for directions. We’ve been operating from here for a long time, and the building has seen a lot of seasons. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of textbooks. We spend our days dealing with manuscripts and making sure everything is printed right. It gets pretty loud sometimes with all the movement and the traffic outside on the main road. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks covered in papers and printers that seem to have a mind of their own. We have staff who have been here for years, and they know where every single title is located even if the piles look messy to anyone else. Lal Kurti is a busy area, and there is always someone coming or going. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly moving boxes from one room to another just to make space for the new stock. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for the day-to-day stuff, just a lot of hard work and keeping track of what needs to go out. The front door stays open most of the day, letting in the sounds of the street. It’s just a regular workplace where we get the books done and shipped out to wherever they need to go. We stay pretty busy here.
