Mohit Garments

Mohit Garments is situated in Sita Palace, right across from Bank Colony on Garh Road. It’s a decent-sized space, but it always feels full because we have so many racks. Garh Road gets very busy during rush hour, so getting into the parking area can be a bit of a headache. We’ve been here for a few years now. Before this, we were in a much smaller shop down the street. Most of our customers come from the colony across the road, so we see the same faces quite often. We sell all sorts of everyday wear. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps people see the colors of the fabric properly. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come by. My nephew works here with me, and he’s better at organizing the shelves than I am. Sometimes we get shipments that take all day to sort through. The counter is made of old wood and has a few scratches, but it serves its purpose. We keep a small stool behind it for when my legs get tired. There’s a tea shop nearby that brings us snacks in the afternoon. It’s a straightforward business. We buy clothes, we put them on the hangers, and we sell them to whoever walks through the door. Nothing more to it than that, really. We aren't doing anything special, just selling clothes.
