If you come down to Tiwari Campus on West End Road, you will find us at 202 B /10. This is Meerut Cantt, so the surroundings have a certain feel to them. We call this place Pariza Gharara House. It is basically a house filled with clothes, specifically the ghararas that people around here like for weddings and big parties. The shop isn't shiny or metallic like the big malls. It has old walls and shelves that have seen better days, but they hold all the heavy embroidery work just fine. Working here means dealing with a lot of lace and thread every single day. Most days, we are busy folding things back up or helping someone see how the fabric catches the light. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock arriving, but we make it work. The Tiwari Campus area is usually busy, and you can hear the sounds of the road all day long. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. People mostly just know we are here in the Cantt area. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s not too hot. It is just a local business where we know our neighbors and we know our work. It is simple. We open the doors, handle the clothes, and go home when the sun sets. There is always a lot of thread on the floor by evening.
