Mahi Provision

Our place is called Mahi Provision and you can find us at 7 Ganga Sagar. We are right by the Ganga Sagar Gate in Meerut. This area of Ganga Nagar is always moving with people and cars. The shop is a bit small, but we cram a lot of stuff into it. You have to walk carefully so you don't knock anything over. We have everything from cooking oil to light bulbs. Most of the people who live in 250001 come by at least once a week for their stuff. There is no air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little. It's a very straightforward business. We buy things from the wholesalers and sell them here. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. They usually don't mind much. Keeping the place as clean as we can is the goal, but with all the foot traffic, the floor gets dirty fast. A small desk is where we handle the money and keep our books. It has been like this for years. No one is looking to expand or do anything big. We just want to keep the shop running like it always has. It is where the locals go to get their supplies without having to go to the big market. We just stay here and do the work every day.
