Kishor Hair Drasor

Kishor Hair Drasor is a small shop at Shop No.1 on Garh Road in Meerut. We are located near the Horal Harmeen Inn, which is where a lot of people stay when they are passing through town. The spelling on our sign is a bit different, but everyone in the area knows who we are. Garh Road is a major road, so there is never a quiet moment with all the trucks and buses going by. I open the shop early every morning, usually before the sun is fully up, to beat the heat. The shop is just a single room with the basic stuff you need for cutting hair. I have got my scissors, my combs, and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It is a humble place, but it is mine. Most of the customers are people who live in the nearby colonies or workers from the road. We do not use any fancy products, just the usual soaps and creams you find in Meerut. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough. I spend most of my day standing on my feet, and by the evening the floor is covered in hair that needs to be swept away. It is honest work and I have been doing it at this spot on Garh Road for quite a while now.
