Kanth Knittex Private Limited is over in the Mohakmapur area of Meerut. We are located at 8-Surya Pailes, which is a bit of a local landmark around here. Meerut is known for its industry, and we fit right into that. Since we deal with knittex, there is often the sound of machines or the smell of various textiles in the air. It’s a busy atmosphere. Our space at Surya Palace is filled with rolls of fabric, different types of yarn, and a lot of samples that we’ve collected over the seasons. It’s not a very tidy place because we are always moving things around to find what we need. We have a small office section in the front with a couple of old computers where we handle the billing and the emails. The rest of the space is taken up by the materials. The floors are concrete and can get quite cold in the winter months. We usually have some tea going to keep us warm while we work through the orders. It’s a hands-on business, so we are often dusty or have bits of thread on our clothes by the end of the day. We don’t put on any acts for visitors. If you come by, you’ll see us working exactly as we are. It’s just a regular Meerut business trying to get the job done right while managing the noise and the constant movement of the textile trade every single day.
