R. B. Contractors General Order Suppliers

We’re located over at No. 27 in Gol Greek, which is right near the Cantt Railway Station in Kanker Khera. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and movement around our place. We act as general order suppliers, so we deal with a whole range of different items depending on what the local contracts need at the time. One day it might be building materials and the next it could be something totally different like office supplies or hardware. Our office is more like a small warehouse where we track our orders and wait for the delivery trucks to arrive. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various vendors trying to get everything sorted. It’s a lot of logistics, making sure things actually arrive where they are supposed to go. Kanker Khera is a busy, crowded spot and we’ve become a part of the daily life here over the years. We don't have one specific specialty; we just supply whatever is ordered. It keeps us on our toes because you never know what the next request will be. Sometimes we are out at different sites checking on how the materials are being used. It’s not a glamorous job at all, but it’s necessary for getting things finished. We’ve been doing this for a long time and know most of the people around the railway station area. We just make sure the orders are filled and the paperwork is done.
