You can find K. L. Mahajan & Sons over on Suraj Kund Road in Phool Bagh. It’s a family-run kind of place, and you can tell as soon as you walk in. The office isn't updated with the latest furniture, but everything has its place. We have been at this Phool Bagh location for a good while. The street outside can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends, but inside it’s usually just us working through the stack of orders. We don't have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just show up and do what needs to be done. The name on the sign is our own, so we take it seriously in a quiet way. There’s no corporate ladder here. It’s just us and a few helpers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out lists. The walls are a bit faded and the floor creaks in one corner, but it feels right to us. Suraj Kund Road is a familiar place to spend the day. We are just a local business at a local address. If the lights are on, we are probably busy with something.
