Indian Spices Factory

We are based out of Modipuram, right in the Pallavpuram area. The Indian Spices Factory is actually near the Pabli Khas Railway Station, which makes things easier for transport. Being in Pavli Khas is good for us. We've been working in the spice business for quite some time now. It’s a dusty job, and the smell of turmeric and cumin is always in our clothes. We don't mind it. The factory isn't some high-tech place. It’s got old-school grinders and plenty of floor space for drying. We have a small crew from the nearby villages. They’ve been with us for years. We don't really have a big plan for global expansion. We just want to supply the local markets around here. The railway station nearby is a big landmark for us. If you can find the station, you can find us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but that's just how it is here. We focus on the basics. Making sure the seeds are clean and the powder is right. We don't use any fancy additives. It's just spices. We aren't much for talking or writing big stories. We just stay busy with the orders. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We hope to stay in Modipuram for a long time. The sound of the trains going by the Pabli Khas station is something we've just gotten used to. It shakes the windows a bit, but nobody notices anymore. We start our day early before the sun gets too high. It's cooler that way. We use big metal bins for the spices once they are ground up to keep them fresh.
