Our place is located at E-38-39 in Udyog Puram, over in the Partapur area. It’s a busy industrial zone with a lot of different companies packed together. We focus on light sources here. That means a lot of bulbs and components are scattered across our workbenches most of the time. The space is fairly large since we have two units joined together. We spend our days testing things and packing them into boxes. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. The street outside can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small staff of locals who come in every day. We don't really have a big corporate structure or anyone in suits. It’s just us in our work clothes getting things sorted. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the main road, which can be frustrating. We just deal with it as it comes. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We have some shelves that are getting a bit wobbly, so we might need to fix those soon. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here in Partapur. It’s a basic operation, but it keeps us all employed and the lights are always on. We make sure the floor is swept at the end of every day. That's about it for us at Grover Light Source. We sometimes share some snacks during the late afternoon.
