Golden Studio Art & Craft

We are based out of House No. 39 in Gupta Colony. It is right near Ambedkar Chowk on Gali No. 3, just off the main road. Golden Studio Art & Craft is basically a home-based setup that grew over time. We use the lower part of the house for all our art and craft work. It gets a bit cramped sometimes with all the materials lying around. There are paints, brushes, and different bits of wood or metal in almost every corner. We don't have a formal reception or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. The neighborhood is mostly residential so it stays relatively quiet except for the traffic on the main road. Sometimes the kids from the colony peek in to see what we are making. We don't mind at all. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here and we don't wear uniforms or follow strict office rules. We work when we have orders and take breaks when we feel tired. Sometimes we stay up late to finish a piece if the light is good. Our hands are always stained with some kind of paint or glue. It’s a bit messy but that’s how art is supposed to be. We just enjoy making things and being part of the community here near the chowk. It is a simple life and it works well for us.
