Gaurav Sunny Infracity Private Limited operates out of P-42 in Green Wood City. This is right on the Meerut Bypass, near Baghpat Road. Being near the bypass is actually quite handy because we can get in and out of the city without getting stuck in the middle of Meerut’s worst traffic, though it still happens. The office itself is part of the local landscape now. We’ve got a small sign out front and usually a couple of bikes parked near the entrance. Most of the time, we are busy with infrastructure stuff, which means a lot of talking to contractors and checking on supply deliveries. It’s not always pretty work. There is a lot of dust and mud involved when you are dealing with land and roads. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Usually, we just get some tea from the shop down the road. It’s a practical setup. We handle things as they come up, and since we are local, we know the soil and the layout of this area better than most outsiders would. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to send emails, which gives us time to talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We just keep moving forward with whatever project is on the desk that week, trying to keep the noise down for the neighbors.
