Fashion Bites Exports

Our office is on the 2nd Floor of Metro Plaza, specifically at C-213. It is a bit of a climb if you don't take the lift, but we have been here for quite a while now. We handle a lot of export work, which means there are always cardboard boxes stacked up somewhere. It’s not the cleanest looking place because we are always in the middle of packing or unpacking things. We deal with clothes that go out to different places around the world. I spend most of my day on the phone or checking through the samples to make sure they aren't falling apart. It is a small team here, just four of us trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the power goes out in the building and we just have to sit there and wait. That's just part of being in Metro Plaza I guess. We aren't a retail shop where you can just browse, but people do come by to talk about their orders. It’s noisy because of the other units nearby, but we get our work done. I started this after working for a big company and realizing I wanted to do things my own way. It’s a lot of stress but it’s mine. We just keep our heads down and try to get the shipments out on time every single week. It is a busy life but we are used to it by now.
