Drishti Eye Foundation

We’ve been at Tirupati Plaza on the first floor for a while now. Running an eye place like Drishti Eye Foundation means we see a lot of folks from around here every day. It’s usually busy, especially in the mornings when people drop by before work or school. We started this because there was a need for someone to look at eyes in this part of town without making it a big ordeal. Our space isn't fancy or anything, but it works for what we do. You’ll find us easily enough once you get up to the first floor. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much for the older folks, but most manage okay. We deal with everything from basic checkups to people who can't see the signs across the street anymore. It’s just us here, a small team trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big waiting room, so things can get a bit tight if three families show up at once. That happens more than you’d think. People mostly know us by word of mouth, which is how we like it. We focus on the work, checking prescriptions, looking at cataracts, and making sure everyone leaves with a bit more clarity than they came in with. It’s honest work, and being in this building feels like being part of the local furniture. We’ve seen the shops downstairs change names plenty of times, but we’re still here at the same spot.
