Dheeraj Publications

We are Dheeraj Publications and we are located at Plot No-11/29 in Agarwal Colony. Our building is right on Delhi Road, directly opposite the Ramlila Ground. It’s a great landmark because everyone knows where the ground is. Our office is usually filled with the smell of paper and ink. We have stacks of manuscripts and printed books everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes but we know our way around. We’ve been publishing things for a while now and it’s a steady kind of work. We aren't a massive publishing house with glass walls. We are just a small team in a local neighborhood. During the festive season when there are events at the Ramlila Ground, it gets very loud and crowded outside, which is always interesting. We have a few old printing machines that we still use alongside some newer stuff. It’s a mix of the old and the new. Most of our days are spent proofreading or talking to authors who stop by. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. We just put out the books and hope people find them useful. It is a plain and simple business. We like the pace of life here in Agarwal Colony. It feels like a real community and we are just glad to have our little corner on Delhi Road. It is a bit noisy but it keeps life interesting for us all.
