Clgupta & Associates

Down here at 115 Meerut Cantt, things move at their own pace. We are Clgupta & Associates, though most people just call us the Gupta office. We are located near Jeepal, which is a spot most locals recognize without needing a map. Being in the Cantt area gives us a bit of a different feel compared to the crowded city center. It’s a bit more orderly, though the monkeys still cause trouble on the roof now and then. Our office is small. We have a few associates who have been here for years. We handle the usual stuff, mostly tax work and keeping books for local businesses. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you just get one of us. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and old ledgers. The fans hum in the background and we drink a lot of coffee to keep going. It’s not the most exciting work for some, but it’s important to the people we help. We’ve had some of the same clients since we first opened the doors. They come in, we talk about their families for a bit, and then we get down to the business at hand. It’s a comfortable way to work. We don't need fancy furniture to do a good job. Just a working pen and some quiet. We just keep our heads down and do the filing.
