C & C Security Systems

We’re over at the CCTV Tower, which is No. 716 in Sector-2. It’s right in the Central Market of Shastri Nagar, not far from Tiranga Chowk. If you’ve ever walked through the market, you’ve probably passed by us. C & C Security Systems is where we spend our days looking at cameras and wires. We help people set up their home security or put cameras in their shops. It’s not very glamorous work, mostly crawling around on ladders or trying to figure out why a cable isn't working. The shop is small and usually has a few monitors showing different angles of the street outside. People come in mostly because they’re worried about their property, and we just try to give them something that works without costing a fortune. We don't use big sales pitches. We just show them what the cameras see and how to check it on their phones. Sometimes the market gets so loud we can hardly hear each other talk inside. We’ve been here for a good while and know most of the other traders around Tiranga Chowk. My brother does the installations while I stay at the shop to handle the walk-ins. It’s a steady rhythm and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood. We just do our job and go home to our families at night.
