Looking for Jai Jagdamba Company is usually pretty easy once you find Anupam Sweets. We are right behind the PNB, tucked away at No. 91 Azad Nagar on the Meenakshipuram Road. It is a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when people are out getting snacks or doing their banking. Our building has been here for a while, and we’ve become part of the furniture in this neighborhood. Inside, things are usually moving fast. We handle various tasks throughout the day, mostly making sure orders get out and things are where they need to be. It can get a bit dusty with all the coming and going, but we try to keep a broom handy. Being near the sweets shop is a bit of a distraction sometimes because of the smell of fresh food, but we manage to stay focused on our own work. The street outside is always full of scooters and people walking by, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small team here, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. One person might be on the phone while another is moving boxes or checking the inventory. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy waiting rooms. It is just a practical space where we run the business. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a few fans that keep us going through the shift. We stay open until the evening most days.
