If you head down towards Bishan Chowk in Meerut, you’ll find us at 1113 Indira Nagar. Attrayant Footwear & Apparels is our little corner of the world. We deal with both shoes and clothes, which keeps things interesting because they are two very different things to handle. The shop is in a busy residential neighborhood, so we get a lot of people who live just a few streets away. It’s the kind of place where people stop by just to say hello while they are out buying groceries. We keep the shoes on one side and the clothes on the other. Sometimes the boxes get stacked a bit too high and we have to move everything around to find a specific size. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. My brother helps me run the place and we usually open up around ten in the morning. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just put our sign out front and wait for people to come in. The street outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right. We like the people around here and they seem to like us too. It’s a decent way to make a living in Meerut.
