We’ve been here at No. 172 Abu Lane for a while now. It’s right near the P P P Conference Hall, which most folks around here know. Most days it’s just us doing our thing with the art supplies and projects. The shop isn't fancy. There’s usually some dust on the shelves and we might be busy in the back when you walk in. Abu Lane gets pretty crowded in the afternoons. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to park, but we like being in this part of town. We handle a lot of different requests. Some people come in looking for specific stuff and others just want to look around. We don't have a huge staff or anything. It's just a few of us making sure things get done. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up. If you're heading toward the conference hall, you'll see our sign. It's been there since we started. We spend a lot of time just sorting through materials and talking to the regulars who drop by. It’s a bit noisy outside with the street sounds, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to keep the doors open and help people find what they need for their creative work. It's a simple setup. We’ve got some old chairs if you need to sit. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day.
