Anuj Cosmetics & General Store

You can find us at 437/2 in Shastri Nagar, not too far from Gauri Jewellers. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We carry both cosmetics and general household items because that’s what people in Meerut seem to want. One shelf has bangles and creams, and the next one has pulses or soap. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for us. The space is tight, so things are stacked pretty high. I spend most of my day moving boxes or helping someone pick out a shade of lipstick. It’s a neighborhood place, so we see the same people every week. We aren't trying to be a big mall. We just provide what’s needed for the daily routine. If the lights are on, we are open. Sometimes the power goes out, but we stay open anyway. It’s just how things go here. My family helps out when it gets busy in the evenings. We try to keep things organized, but it can get messy when a big delivery arrives. People usually stop by while they are out doing other errands in Shastri Nagar. It’s a practical little store. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just the physical shop at Anuj Cosmetics & General Store. We’ve been here at this address for a good while. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like the people around here.
