Ankit Provision Store

If you are heading down Mawana Road in Ganga Nagar, you will find us on the Main Road. We are quite close to the UCO Bank branch here in Meerut. Ankit Provision Store is just a regular shop where we sell groceries and household items. We stock things like flour, spices, cleaning liquids, and snacks. The shop isn't very large but we try to keep a bit of everything so people don't have to go too far. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit while we unload new sacks of grain. It can get dusty being near the main road but we wipe down the counters when we can. We've got a lot of regular customers who live in the colonies nearby. They usually come in with a list written on a scrap of paper. We pick the items out for them one by one. Sometimes we chat about the weather or the local news while weighing the goods. It’s a bit old-fashioned I suppose. We don't have those barcode scanners or anything like that. We just know the prices and write them down in our book. Being near the bank means there’s always someone passing by. It keeps the day moving fast. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It is a simple life running a provision store in Meerut. We just focus on keeping the basics in stock for everyone who lives around here.
