Anand Hospital

If you head over to Damodar Colony, you’ll see our sign for Anand Hospital. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main roads, which is nice for the people staying here. We started this place because the neighborhood needed something close by. It’s not a huge operation, just a local hospital where we know most of the families who live around the block. The building has seen some years, so it has that lived-in feel. We keep the floors clean and the lights on, and that’s about it for the bells and whistles. Usually, it’s just us and the patients, dealing with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow, which gives us time to catch up on filing, but other days it feels like we can barely catch our breath. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The rooms are basic. We have beds, some medical equipment, and a small area for visitors to sit. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds outside in the morning. We just show up, do the work, and go home. There’s no big corporate office telling us what to do, just the daily routine of helping folks get back on their feet in Damodar Colony. It works for us and seems to work for the people here too.
