Alka Choudhry Clinic

This clinic is right on Nedu Road in the Meerut Cantt area. We are directly across from the Masjid, so we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day. It’s a landmark that everyone in this part of Meerut knows. The clinic isn't very big at all. It’s just a couple of rooms where we see people who aren't feeling well. Most of our visitors are from the local neighborhood. They walk over or come on their old scooters. I’ve been working here for many years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that right now. We see a lot of women and children especially. People trust us because we’ve been around for so long. We don't have a big receptionist desk or a complicated filing system. It’s mostly just notebooks and pens for us. The street outside is usually full of life and noise. There are shops nearby and plenty of people walking by at all hours of the day. We try to keep the wait times down for everyone, but sometimes it just can't be helped when it gets busy. It is a simple practice. We don't do anything too fancy or complicated. Just basic health stuff for the folks in the 250001 area. It’s a good life, helping out the neighbors and seeing them get better. We are just a local clinic doing our part on Nedu Road every day.
