Akash General Store & Stationary

Akash General Store & Stationary is right in the middle of Top Khana Market in Meerut. This part of the RA Bazaar is always packed with people moving around. We are over in Meenakshipuram, and it can be a bit of a maze if you are not used to it. I spend my days surrounded by stacks of notebooks, different kinds of pens, and general household items. The main market vibe is very energetic, sometimes too much so. We have students coming in looking for specific registers or ink, and then we have families buying their regular home supplies. I try to keep the stationary side of things well-organized, but it is hard when new stock arrives and there is nowhere to put it. The shop has been here for a while, and the walls show it. We do not have much room to move around, but we know where everything is kept. Meerut gets quite cold in the winter, and we all sit here with our sweaters on waiting for the morning crowd. It is a practical kind of place. We do not do anything special, just sell what is asked for. Sometimes I run out of certain pens because the school nearby has an exam. It is a lot of work keeping track of all the small items like erasers and staples, but it keeps the day moving along and the shop busy.
