If you come looking for us, you have to head up to the first floor of Bhawaya Place. We are in F-23, right there in Plot No. C-2/1. This is in Pocket-T of Pallavpuram Phase II, over in the Modipuram part of Meerut. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying things, but it is a decent spot once you get up there. We have a view of the street from the window, which helps pass the time when things are slow. Meerut is always moving, and even in Pallavpuram, you can hear the noise of the city. We have a few desks squeezed in here. It gets a little cramped when more than two people are trying to move around at once, but we make it work. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or glass partitions you see in the big cities. We just have our files and some plastic chairs for whoever stops by. Most of our day is spent looking at documents and making sure everything is where it should be. It is honest work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of living and working in this area. We have been at this location for a while now and the locals know us pretty well. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. Just a small group of people working in a room in Meerut, trying to keep the books in order.
