Aggarwal Store

Aggarwal Store is over at 218 in Kanker Khera. We are right in the Gurunanak Bazar area, specifically at Marwadi Chowk in Shubhash Puri. It’s a very local neighborhood shop. We’ve been here in this corner of Meerut 250001 for years. The shop is at a busy junction where people are always crossing or stopping their scooters to talk. We sell mostly daily essentials. Our shelves are a bit mismatched because we’ve added to them one by one over the years. Some are metal, some are wood. We don't have a uniform or anything. We just wear our regular clothes and sit behind the counter. It gets quite lively around Marwadi Chowk in the evenings when everyone comes out to shop for dinner. We know most of our customers by their faces, even if we don't always remember every name. The shop front is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful how we stack the crates outside. Sometimes we forget to turn the sign off when we leave, but everyone knows we are closed when the big padlock is on the gate. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We just keep things simple and try to have what people are looking for when they walk in from Shubhash Puri. No big plans, just staying open and doing the work day by day. We've seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own houses now. Usually, my son helps out when he is back from his college classes in the afternoon.
