B. D. Overseases

You can find B. D. Overseases right on Gagol Road, not far from the Amul Dairy in Achhronda. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the dairy is. We are at Khasra No. 371. The smell of the area is a mix of industrial work and the stuff from the dairy, which you get used to. Our building is a bit older, with some cracks in the pavement outside, but it serves us well. We handle a lot of different goods here. It's mostly about sorting and moving things out. The crew is small, just a few of us who have been together for years. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the shipments to arrive. Sometimes the trucks are late because of the traffic on Gagol Road, so we just find something else to clean or fix. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media page. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a decade. We just try to be fair and do what we said we would do. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. No one wears a suit here. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting grease on. Achhronda is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it, trying to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It isn't perfect, but it is our work. That is the way it goes.
