Bhagat Jewellers

Our shop is over in Abu Plaza, right on Abu Lane in the Meerut Cantt area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming in. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. Most days are about the same, we show up, open the safes, and get the jewelry ready for display. We deal with all sorts of pieces, from small gold earrings to heavier sets that people buy for special occasions. People around here know where we are. It’s not a huge place, but it fits what we need. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, but usually, there’s someone coming in to ask about a repair or the current price of gold. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It is just the counter and the chairs for customers. My family has been doing this kind of work for a long time. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around Abu Lane pretty well. Sometimes traffic is a nightmare right outside, which makes it hard for people to park, but they still find their way to us. We just try to be honest about what we have and what we can do. It’s a regular life, working six days a week and seeing the same faces. We keep the books manually mostly and just focus on the task at hand.
