You can find us at Kaseru Buxur, which is right on Mawana Road in the Ganga Nagar area of Meerut. The shop is very close to the Jama Masjid, so we hear the prayers throughout the day. It is a busy part of town with a lot of motorcycles and rickshaws going past all the time. The shop itself is pretty old. My father used to work here before I took over the business. We have the same old wooden cabinets for the combs and the spray bottles. The lighting inside is okay, though one of the tube lights flickers sometimes when it rains. We do all sorts of hair cutting for the men and kids around here. On Fridays, it gets especially crowded because of the mosque nearby. People like to look sharp for the day. We don’t use any of those expensive hair products, just the usual creams and oils you find in any local market. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit worn down in the center from years of people standing there. It isn't a place for someone looking for a luxury experience. It is just a neighborhood hair cutting shop where you can get your hair done quickly and go back to your day. Most of our regulars just tell us "the usual" and sit down in the chair. We know exactly what they want without even asking.
