Meerut can be a really tough place to drive if you aren't used to how things work on the road. That's why we're here at A S Motor Driving Training College. We've been in this part of Uttar Pradesh for quite a while now. The traffic around here is really something else, with all the rickshaws and cows and cars all trying to use the same narrow roads at once. Our office is just a simple room with some old posters of road signs on the walls to help people learn. We don't have any fancy simulators or expensive technology, just real cars and the real streets of Meerut. It’s a bit noisy most of the time because of the horns outside. We start our day early before the sun gets too high and the roads get too blocked up. Most people who come to us are a bit scared at first, but we just sit next to them and tell them to watch their mirrors and stay calm. It’s not a polished business by any means. There’s usually some grease on the table and the smell of petrol in the air. We don't do any big advertisements or marketing. Most people just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our cars driving around town. It’s honest work, helping local people get their confidence behind the wheel so they can get where they need to go. We just take it day by day, teaching one person at a time how to navigate the local chaos.
