You can find Thrus Pharmaceuticals at E-105 in Shastri Nagar. It’s a residential-looking area but with a lot of small businesses tucked into the narrow lanes. Our place is basically a ground floor unit that we converted. We deal with various medicines and health products. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it, and I help out with the logistics and the accounts. Every morning we check the new stock and update the ledgers. The street outside can get pretty tight when a delivery truck pulls up. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the parking, so we have to move things quickly. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. Most of our day is spent making sure the temperature in the storage area is just right. We have a backup generator because the power goes out sometimes in this area. It’s just a regular local business. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the local chemists get what they ordered on time. We have our lunch together in the small back room. It’s quiet in there. Then it’s back to the phones and the boxes until we close up for the evening. It is a simple life and we like it.
