Kidzee

We are located right on Kharida Main Road here in Kharagpur. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with traffic and people going about their business. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a place where the local kids come to spend their mornings. Most days start with a bit of a scramble at the front door when parents are dropping their little ones off before work. It gets loud inside pretty quickly once the rhymes start playing. We have a few rooms filled with colorful mats and some plastic chairs that have seen better days. The walls have drawings taped up, mostly scribbles from the younger groups. Our staff are mostly local ladies who have been with us for a good while. They know the kids by name and also know which ones are likely to refuse their lunch. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise in the summer heat, but we keep them running full blast. We don't really do big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the kids are safe and occupied until their parents come back in the afternoon. It's a lot of cleaning up spilled juice and looking for lost shoes around here. We’ve been part of this Kharagpur neighborhood for some time now, and we’re just used to the daily routine of it all. Nothing too complicated, just a normal day at Kidzee.
