Mohitam Garments Private Limited

Mohitam Garments is based out in Midnapore, specifically in the Krishnamaity Barh area near Dantan. It’s a bit different from being in the middle of a huge city like Kolkata. Things move at a slightly slower pace here, which we don’t mind at all. Our place is in P.O. Uttrrai Barh. It’s a community where everyone knows who we are. We work with fabrics and garments all day long. It’s a simple building where the main focus is just getting the work done. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or marble floors. It’s just a workspace with people who know how to sew and handle cloth. Most of our workers live just a short distance away, so it feels like a real local operation. We’ve been part of this area for a while and we plan on staying. There’s a lot of pride in just doing a good job and seeing the finished clothes packed up and ready for the trucks. It gets dusty sometimes, and the rainy season can make the roads a bit tricky around Dantan, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some massive international brand. We just want to provide for our families and keep the business running smoothly. It’s honest work in a place we call home. That’s what Mohitam Garments is all about, just regular people working hard in Midnapore, making sure our neighbors and customers get what they need.
