Malanadu Nidhi Limited

The office for Malanadu Nidhi is located in Kharagpur, over in the Rajpura area. If you know where Rakhajungle is, we are not far from that post office. Tapas Kumar Das is the one who handles a lot of the things here. It is a simple place, honestly. We don’t have those big glass buildings you see in the city. Instead, it’s a quiet spot in Midnapore where we handle the Nidhi business every day. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink tea while looking over the books. Other days, half the neighborhood seems to come in at once with questions about their savings or small loans. We do our best to keep up with it all. The roads around here can get a bit dusty, especially in the summer months. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It’s just us working here, trying to make sure everything adds up correctly at the end of the month. We aren’t trying to be some massive bank; we are just a local office helping out the people we know. Sometimes we stay a bit late to finish the filing, especially when the power goes out and we lose a bit of time. It’s just how things go around here. You can usually find someone in the office from Monday to Saturday, unless there is a local festival happening near the town center.
